Strategies include the use of Irrevocable Asset Protection Trusts (also known as Medicaid Income Only Trusts), and Spousal Refusal to protect a client’s home and savings.
• Community Medicaid. The Firm is experienced in assisting disabled people to be able to remain in their homes while receiving care from Medicaid-provided health aides. In such cases, the Five (5) year Look-Back Period does not apply, and the client’s income may be afforded protection with the use of a Pooled Income Trust.
